MTB - Muramasa Rebirth Review

Added: 14.07.2013 11:16 | 12 views | 0 comments

MTB - Ive been really looking forward to Muramasa Rebirth. I never managed to get around to playing it when it came out on the Wii, much like Donkey Kong Country Returns. Unlike Donkey Kong Country Returns, I am hopelessly in love with this game. Beautiful does not even begin to describe the games artwork, the combat is deep with tons of interesting nuances, and the storyline is quite different and filled with lots of nods to Japanese folklore. The game just has so much going on in it that I get hopelessly snagged every time I turn it on, and it took a lot of willpower just for me to shut it off to write this review. Its definitely one of those Ill just play until the next save pointwait, is it really 5am? games.

First Look at Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze

Added: 08.07.2013 1:17 | 20 views | 0 comments

Nintendo previously tried this crazy idea of putting Retro Studios into their Donkey Kong, and created the masterpiece of platforming called Donkey Kong Country Returns on the Wii. It was not only a return to a highly praised series by famed developer Rare during the SNES era, but a love letter to anyone who likes to jump on enemies and platforms. Retro proved they know how video games work, and why they're fun to play.

Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze Preview | Geekenstein

Added: 07.07.2013 20:16 | 14 views | 0 comments

"Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is the direct sequel to its newly remade 3DS predecessor Donkey Kong Country Returns. For the most part, a perfect sequel should take what was great about the original and beef it up with new features, mechanics and sometimes controls without losing what made the precursor so popular. DKC:TF takes a different approach all together. Rather than changing anything, it didnt. That isnt to say their arent minor tweaks here and there, but if you were to sit someone down and play both games, you could barely tell the difference." - Alex Cabral of Geekenstein.com

Sonic: Lost World Hands-on Preview | El33tonline

Oliver at El33tonline writes: "Despite the fact that Sonic: Lost World seems to have borrowed a number of familiar elements from Nintendo games like Super Mario Galaxy and Donkey Kong Country Returns, not least of which is the bold, vibrant, almost luminescent world (which looks incredible in motion), I can see Sonic fans really enjoying this latest outing for their favourite hedgehog and with promises of appearances by Tails and Knuckles (and hints at a Super Sonic ability), Lost World looks set to continue the series good form in recent years."
